FAQ

Q: What kind of people cowork at Limbe Labs?
A: Our community is comprised of designers, developers, artists, entrepreneurs, videographers, marketers, freelancers and more. If you can work from anywhere, you can work from Limbe Labs.

Q: Do you provide computers or monitors?
A: For now, we ask that you bring your own laptop computer, though we plan to offer use of shared computers in the near future. We provide a desk, chair, internet, and power for your workstation, along with many other benefits. Some part-time members have external LCD monitors which may be available for use. If you’re interested in a monitor, ask us. We might be able to help coordinate a monitor sharing arrangement.

Q: Can I bring my clients/customers into Limbe Labs?
A: Absolutely. Having a professional place to hold meetings is one of the big advantages of coworking at Limbe Labs.

Q: Do you require members to sign NDAs?
A: Limbe Labs is a community of trust. The more open you are, the more you can get out of this community. Ideas don’t get stolen here, they get nurtured and grown. That said, if you work in a field where your employer or partners are concerned about confidential information being shared, Limbe Labs might not be the best fit.

Q: Can I bring my own food?
A: Sure. We have plenty of space in our kitchen and refrigerator. We provide coffee, tea, milk, fresh local juice, snack items and all the kitchenware you need to prepare a meal. From time to time, members will cook dishes and share with everyone.

Q: I’m a company looking for a freelancer. Can you help?
A: Sort of. Limbe Labs isn’t a recruitment office. Limbe Labs is a place where people come to do work, not get work. That is an important aspect to our culture. If you’re interested in meeting any of the talent who works at Limbe Labs, you are welcome to participate in any of our public events and spend time with members. We ask that you participate, though, not show up to pitch work or opportunities. We’d never stand between a member and a good opportunity, but we also want people to feel comfortable in their work environment.
